How Can You Help Address the Social Isolation of Seniors in our Community?
The social isolation of seniors is a significant issue in Canada and has been identified as a national priority. For seniors, it is often difficult to live in isolation, and more importantly, it present significant health challenges for many. Isolation has become a significantly prevalent health concern.
The Calgary Chinese Community Service Association (CCCSA) and the Alberta Ministry of Seniors and Housing have come together to address senior isolation. They seeking YOUR input on how the quality of community life for seniors in the area can be improved.
To inform these actions, we ask that Sherwood residents complete an online survey. By doing so, you will be helping organizations in your community to better understand local area seniors and bring about social innovation that benefits the whole community.
